Spreadsheets and matooke

Cor streuth, thought I’d left my programming days behind in England. Macros, pivot tables, and INDIRECT… But sustenance cures all ills. Here’s lunch, matooke is cooked green bananas, tasting like a mashed sweet potato and cooked beans in a rich sauce, not unlike baked beans. Take away as it were from a very dodgy looking shack near the office. This is me and student intern Levy, with student Maria about to tuck in.

The spreadsheet got finished at 6. Fell off Blue Bell on the way home, very embarrassing, lots of hahaha muzumba.
All made up for by plate of fruit awaiting me at home, thank you Shami. The water melon and the bananas…. Ahhhh.

Now the sun’s setting on another day in Iganga, and I feel really tired.

Sweet dreams wherever you are.
